In the German branch office of Livingston are about 10,000 pieces of equipment on an average handled per month.
The achievement potential is not utilized by far: the logistics center of Livingston is perfectly organized and located in Darmstadt at Germany’s main arterial roads.
THIS IS AS WE ARE STRUCURED
About 90 Emloyees are busy in Livingston’s center in Darmstadt. One thing is common to all of them: They are fully behind the idea of IT- and presentation equipment rental and stand for the high quality of our services.
Goods-in: In our so called „return process“ we check and test all goods which returned from hire. The equipment will be cleaned, visually inspected for flaws including peripherals like mice and keyboards. Directly after this inspection the genuine system software will be installed from an image server via network. All data left by the previous customer are irrevocably erased. The subsequent functional testing ensures all internal components (RAM, soundcard, graphics adaptor, etc.) are available and work properly.
Warehouse: About 22,000 items of all major brands are waiting properly stored for the next hire order.
Goods-out: When we content that there are no lemons in our rental pool, then this is a matter of restarting the whole process as soon as an order is taken.
Technical Operations: All items are again cleaned, connected and tested. If PCs require installation of particular software, this will be installed in technical operations. A final complete functional test will be performed before the equipment is packed and shipped.
